What We Offer

RICHTERS AUCTIONS has been in business for over 35 years and offers home town services combined with loyalty and honesty. We are known for our old-school auction style services with high tech accommodations. Our staff prides itself on customer services along with a knowledgeable, friendly and fun environment.

Bidding at Richters Auctions:

  1. Live Bids or
  2. Absentee Bids


We are considerate when it comes to removing your items from the Auction Barn. Please make arrangement before you leave if you need extra days or help in removing your items. 


For Absentee Bids - Buyers are 100% responsible for making arrangements before the item is sold. A Credit or Debt Card must be on file with the Auction Barn and Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges and/or fees. 


Absentee Bidding Policy: Richters Auctions will make the Live Audience aware of an Absentee Bid and start the bidding at half of your bid. Bidding will increase by the auctioneers' discretion until there is a winner. Once the bid has exhausted your highest amount, the auctioneer will let the Live Audience know that the Absentee Bidder is no longer involved in the auction and continue on until you have a winner.  

FREE Consultation:


After our FREE consultation, you will be offered an individual gross percentage for our entire services. Percentages range from 25 - 30% if you are able to deliver your consignments to our auction barn or 30 - 45% for offsite pickups. Percentages vary for our Mobile Auction Services. You make the decision to proceed from this point. There is NO upfront cost to you. 

 

Pre-Auction Services:


Our friendly and experienced packaging and hauling team will show up on a pre-approved date and obtain all of the agreed auction items. You do not have to be at the Estate when we are packaging your items. We use enclosed cargo trailers to transport your auction items to protect them from weather and critters. Your items are unloaded, examined, detailed and set up for display. Most highly appraised items are visually exposed through several multimedia  vehicles. Again, you don't pay any set up or advertising fees. 

 

Auction Services:


All estate items are staged and displayed for several weeks for optimal exposure. Owners live on site to allow for 24 hour security and information. All items are tagged and auctioned off to the highest bidder according to the laws of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations for Auctioneers. 


Post-Auction Services:


Usually within 7 to 10 business days after the Auction date, you will receive an official itemized business statement of your estate and a check based on your agreed percentage.
